Blutch Biography

Blutch Blutch, from Mons, Belgium, performs an exploratory form of sludge and doom metal, inspired but not exceedingly indebted to elder legends like Melvins, Neurosis and Boris. Formed around the start of the third millennium, the trio has released several full-length CDs, including 2001's Enjoy Your Flight, 2003's Fra Diavolo, and 2006's Materia -- all featuring mainstay Djinn Alaimo handling guitar and vocals; while Olivier T. Joens (bass guitar) and Pask Storme (drums) replaced original members Hughes and Johan for the latter effort. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
