Bottom Biography

Bottom One of the few all-girl stoner rock bands in existence, Bottom consists of singer/guitarist Sina, bassist Nila, and drummer/backing vocalist Clementine. The trio formed in 1998 on the Lower East Side of Manhattan before moving west to San Francisco, and released their debut album, Made in Voyage, the following year through independent Mudflap Records. Positive reviews led to a deal with Man's Ruin, which issued the sophomore Feels So Good When You're Gone in 2001 -- shortly before going bankrupt. Bottom concentrated on touring for the next few years, and also submitted a track entitled "Nadasoul" to High Times magazine's 2004 stoner rock compilation, High Volume. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
