Producing sophisticatedly warped house records since 1995, Boston's Dana Kelly penetrated the world of jacked-up straight beats with an arsenal of aliases, one of which was Guidance Recordings' Callisto. Kelly's reputation for low-key percussive mistrust and front-of-the-crate DJ appeal had been established with pseudonyms like Krimp, Andrastea, DKMA, Sun Kings, and Deep Theory, but he went for a deeper, more intricate approach with Callisto, concentrating on clever bass lines and resistant tech-house structures. ~ Dean Carlson, All Music Guide
