Circle Ii Circle Biography

Circle Ii Circle Vocalist Zachary Stevens spent much of the 1990's singing for Floridian heavy metal institution Savatage before quitting midway through the year 2000 to attend to some family business. His personal issues resolved a year later, Stevens began collaborating with his former Savatage cohorts Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery, coming up with a set of songs that would eventually sow the seeds for a new band called Circle II Circle. Guitarist Matt LaPorte, keyboard player John Zahner, bassist Kevin Rothney and drummer Chris Kinder were soon hired to round out the line-up that recorded 2003's Waiting in Silence debut for AFM Records. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
