Crimson Thorn Biography
The members of Crimson Thorn, surely one of the world's most extreme-sounding Christian metal bands, choose to preach their gospel via the unfeasibly coarse but highly technical death metal style normally championed by dark side-friendly acts like Suffocation and Immolation. Hailing from Minneapolis, they have recorded albums such as 1995's Unearthed, 1999's Dissection, and 2002's Purification at a leisurely pace, and consist of vocalist/bassist Luke Renno, guitarists Miles Sunde and Andy Kopesky (replacing Paul Jongeward after the first LP), and drummer Kevin Sundberg. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
