Dax Riders Biography

Dax Riders French electronica outfit Dax Riders (named after the Honda Dax ST-70 motorbike) burst into the local scene in 1994 with the release of "Faster Than a Dax." Cédric Azencoth aka Bad Ced, known for promoting the first House Party of Paris in 1991, teamed up with Olivier Ruel aka Daxman, who began playing in a glam/rock band and then turned into hip-hop. Argentine self-taught multi-instrumentalist Nicolas Berger-Vachon (born 1975) aka Erman joined them in 1999. That same year the threesome released their debut album, Dax. Backintown followed in 2001, including the hit single "People," also featured in Laissons Lucie Faire's soundtrack. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
