Decoryah Biography

Decoryah Formed in the early '90s, Finland's Decoryah featured singer/guitarist Jukka Vuorinen, bassist Jani Kakko and drummer Mikko Laine. Signing to Metal Blade, the trio debuted with 1995's Wisdom Floats (also featuring keyboards from one Jonne Valtonen), then returned with 1996's Fall Dark Waters and 1997'sBreathing the Blue EP. All three contained atmospheric, symphonic heavy metal filled with ambitious song structures and obscure lyrical themes, but none fared very well and the band eventually called it a day. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
