Enthroned Biography
Belgian death metal band Enthroned was formed in late 1993 by singer/bassist Lord Sabathan and drummer Cernunnos, who previously joined forces in Morbid Death. With the addition of ex-Slanesh guitarist Tsebaoth, the group recorded their debut demo, followed by a split EP alongside Ancient Rites; in the wake of 1995's full-length "Prophecies of Pagan Fire, second guitarist Nornagest was added to the lineup, with Tsebaoth later replaced by guitarist Nebiros. In April of 1997, tragedy struck when Cernunnos committed suicide; the surviving members of Enthroned pressed on to record Towards the Skullthrone of Satan, followed in 1998 by the mini-LP Regie Sathanas: A Tribute to Cernunnos, recorded with new drummer Namroth Blackthorn.
