Eskimo Biography
Labeled as "the Bay Area's monster's of loony tune rock, " Eskimo combine the elements of punk, funk, metal, free style improvised jazz and their own twisted blend of whatever. On top of adding bits and pieces of circus music, nursery rhymes and contorted blues, Eskimo's debut "The Further Adventures of Der Shrimpkin" took the San Francisco scene by surprise in 1995. Continuing on into their spelunking of the musical unexplored, Eskimo broke a few more conventional boundaries with their second album "Some Prefer Cake" in 1999. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
