Feinstein Biography

Feinstein Feinstein is a heavy metal band helmed by veteran guitarist David "Rock" Feinstein, who, after working with his cousin, vocalist Ronnie James Dio, in '70s hard rockers Elf, went on to a lengthy (if sub-mainstream) '80s career fronting New York City metalheads the Rods. Feinstein was silent throughout the '90s, but duly reemerged in the 2000s with a self-named solo project featuring Royal Hunt vocalist John West, keyboardist Bob Twining, bassist Jeff Howell, and drummer Nate Horton. Resurrecting the glorious metal sound of old, the band's debut album, Third Wish, was released by SPV in the summer of 2004. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
