Gorerotted Biography
Gorerotted turned heads in the England for its obscene, extreme style of gore metal. Influenced by genre-defining bands such as Carcass and Macabre, Gorerotted built its reputation in the metal underground with its 1998 demo, Her Gash Did I Slash, before unleashing its much-discussed debut, Mutilated in Minutes, which Relapse released in 2002. The European metal press championed the album, with Terrorizer magazine naming it the seventh best "gore" album of all time. In addition to the press support, Gorerotted appeared at numerous European metal festivals, including such prestigious ones as Fuck the Commerce, Obscene Extreme, and the X-Treme Justice Festival. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
