Hair Of The Dog Biography

Hair Of The Dog Hair of the Dog (Ryan Spencer Cook, guitar and vocals, Mike Dupke, drums, Boot, bass, John A. Sepetys, guitar) released an independent release simply titled Hair of the Dog in 1997. This release was in response to a tremendous reaction to a cut called "Caddilac Jack" that appeared on a radio sampler. The group spent the better part of the next two years on the road. The group then signed to Spitfire and released the next disc Rise. The group hit the road again, and the album began to really take off. Unfortunately, Sepetys' health was beginning to take a toll. Problems with his hand lead to him leaving the group. The group has recorded their third album, Ignite, but they have not yet replaced Sepetys. ~ Gary Hill, All Music Guide
