Harem Scarem Biography
Harem Scarem was formed in 1987 by bassist Mike Gionet, vocalist Harold Hess, guitarist Pete Lesperance and drummer Darren Smith. After guitarist Pete Lesperance joined the following year, the band recorded an 11-song demo and eventually signed with Warner Music Canada. Harem Scarem's self-titled debut appeared in 1991; Mood Swings was released in 1993. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
