Havayoth Biography
Sweden's Havayoth was born when Borknagar vocalist Andreas Hedlund and his Vintersorg bandmate Marcus Norman (guitars/keyboards/programming -- also a member of Bewitched) decided to collaborate on a new gothic rock project. The result was 2000's surprisingly accessible His Creation Reversed album, which saw the pair -- plus bassist Morgan Hansson -- trying their hands at dreamy goth, both majestic and atmospheric, and showing only vestigial links to their usual heavy metal specialties. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
