Ice Age Biography
New York-based progressive metal ensemble Ice Age blends the influence of American prog-pop acts like Styx and Kansas with the heavier sound of Rush, the more elegant European stylings of Deep Purple and Michael Schenker, and the modern touch of Fates Warning, King's X and Dream Theater. Consisting of vocalist/keyboardist Josh Pincus, guitarist Jimmy Pappas, bassist Aaron DiCesare, and former Cold Steel drummer Hal Aponte, the group issued its debut album, The Great Divide, in 1999. Liberation followed two years later. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
