It Dies Today Biography
Formed in 2001 when most of their members were still in their teens, Buffalo, NY's It Dies Today have one foot in the realm of bruising death metal and another in post-hardcore, combining the two styles into an explosive hybrid generally referred to as -- you guessed it -- metalcore. Following a spate of touring and a self-financed EP named Forever Scorned, members Nick Brooks (vocals), Mike Hatalak (guitar), Christopher Cappelli (guitar), Steve Lemke (bass), and Nick Mirusso (drums) landed a deal with Trustkill Records. It Dies Today's full-length debut, The Caitiff Choir, emerged in 2004, and their sophomore, Sirens, followed in 2006. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
