Layzie Bone Biography
A member of the Cleveland gangsta rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and brother to onetime group member Flesh-N-Bone, Layzie Bone remained relatively quiet in the wake of the group's mid-'90s breakthrough success. While fellow Bone Thugs Flesh-N-Bone, Bizzy Bone, and Krayzie Bone all recorded solo albums, Layzie presented the Mo Thugs Family, a wide and revolving roster of Cleveland-area urban groups featured on the multiple albums. His solo debut, It's Not a Game, finally appeared in 2005. A year later he released Thug Brothers, a collaborative effort with Young Noble from the Outlawz, along with the solo effort The New Revolution. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
