Loona Biography
Commercial assistant, ballet dancer, and pop singer Loona (born Marie-Jose van del Kolk) became captivated by dance-pop music at a young age. Spanish disc jockey and producer DJ Sammy decided to team up with her after listening to "Bailando," Loona's first hit. Her version of Mecano's "Hijo de la Luna" and "Dónde Vas" soon followed. Loona issued her debut album, called Lunita, in 1999. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
