Malu Biography

Malu Niece of talented flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía, Latin pop singer Malú made her debut with the release of 1998's Aprendiz, featuring Alejandro Sanz' "Donde Quiera Que Estes," "Antes Que Amantes, Amigos," and "Aprendiz." She soon became a platinum selling artist, achieving an Amigo award for revelation of the year. After issuing 1999's Cambiarás, Malú moved to the U.S. to make her following album, recorded in Miami and produced by Estéfano and René Toledo.
