Mpath Biography

Mpath Blending classical and folk elements from India with Western melodies and subtle pop sensibilities, Mpath is a collaboration between producers Markus Mitchell and Gardner Cole. Mitchell has a long history of producing worldbeat albums and Cole has issued several solo recordings as well as writing numerable pop hits, most notably "Open Your Heart" by Madonna. Their first album, Meeting Rivers, was released in 2002 and featured performances from renowned sarangi player Ramesh Misra, violinist Lili Haydn, and sitar player Indrajit Banerjee.
