Myrkskog Biography

Myrkskog Erupting out of the Norwegian death metal scene around 1993, Myrkskog burst into the extreme metal scene just to fall back into obscurity only a year later. One lone four track recording leaked into the underground, convincing the band to give it another shot. They recorded a popular demo in 1998 and after it successfully excited the underground, they signed with Candlelight and released Death Machine. A warm reaction from local metal fans kept the band going, and by 2002 they had their sophomore effort, Superior Massacre, released to stores. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
