Nikkos Biography
Born Nikkos Bifaro Vincenzo in Trapani, Italy, the new age performer known as Nikko began playing the accordion at the age of ten. He moved on to several other instruments, eventually earning his master's degree in flute from the noted conservatory V. Bellini. He performed in Europe as a soloist and with a variety of orchestras, eventually returning to Italy for his eponymous debut album. Moving to Tokyo, Japan, in the early '90s, he began to release material on his own, beginning the angel series which reflected his belief that everyone needed to follow their own angel. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
