One Way Ride Biography

One Way Ride Long Beach, CA's, One Way Ride consists of vocalist/guitarist Leldon, guitarist Chris Scott, bassist Timmy Lunsford, and percussionist/vocalist Brian Carhart. The group formed in the late '90s and used the riff-friendly rock of Stone Temple Pilots, Creed, and Matchbox Twenty as inspiration for their own sound. Eventually One Way Ride caught the ear of producer Don Gehman who took the group into the studio to record their debut album Straight Up!; the album was released in mid-2000 on MCA Records. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
