Ophthalamia Biography
Ophthalamia is a black metal side-project band featuring vocalist Legion (Marduk), guitarist It (Abruptum, Vondur), bassist Night (Swordmaster), and drummer Winter (Edge of Sanity). After debuting on the Avantgarde label with A Journey in Darkness, the group switched to Century Black for 1996's Via Dolorosa. The following year, Ophthalamia issued a re-recorded Journey in Darkness under the title A Long Journey; Dominion followed in 1998. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
