Sophia Biography
Sophia Roberts, better known as Sophia (sometimes Sophia Songhealer), is an internationally renowned recording artist and multi-instrumentalist (zither, tamboura, dulcimer, guitar, and percussion) who uses her music to heal and uplift. After releasing four records on her own label (Return, Hidden Waters/Sacred Ground, Emergence, and Journey into Love), Sophia contributed a song to the Sequoia label compilation Musical Healing. She eventually signed with the outfit, releasing Chakra Healing Chants, a Sanskrit and Hebrew-based celebration of the healing centers of the body, in 2002. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
