Space Odyssey Biography
One of many projects helmed by Swedish keyboard ace Richard Andersson, Space Odyssey also consists of vocalist Patrik Johansson (Astral Doors), guitarist Magnus Nilsson (Talisman), bassist Marcel Jacob (ex-Rising Force), and drummer Zoltan Csorsz (the Flower Kings). Confusingly, Space Odyssey's debut album, 2004's Embrace the Galaxy, rarely bothers itself with anything scientific or space related, but rather features ultra-technical neo-classical heavy metal in the image of Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
