Toy Biography

Toy The Atlanta-based trio Toy is led by singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist Alice Lei, and although their sound has often been categorized as quirky alt-pop, a wide variety of styles are mixed together for an interesting mix -- blues, jazz, pop, rock, folk, world, and samples. Although Toy have released only a single CD thus far, 2000's Magic (issued on the independent Orchard label), the group has appeared on the MTV Undressed soundtrack, played shows throughout the U.S., and have received a substantial amount of commercial radio airplay. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide
