Von Zamla Biography
The Swedish band Von Zamla began in 1981 with keyboardist/composer Lars Hollmer and guitarist Eino Haapala (both formerly of Samlas Mamma Manna). The group toured heavily, travelling with their large array of instruments while living out of a former passenger bus. Von Zamla released Zamlaranama in 1981, and No Make Up in 1983. Neither album was released outside of Sweden, and after their tour in 1985, the group disbanded. ~ Joslyn Layne, All Music Guide
